COMMUNITY GRANTS FOR YOUR RUBBER SURFACING PROJECT
At Safe Step Surfacing, we are proud to be eligible for community funding programs. This means that schools, daycares, municipalities, and non-profits working with us can access grants to help cover the cost of recycled rubber surfacing projects. By partnering with Safe Step Surfacing, your playgrounds, walkways, and outdoor spaces can be upgraded safely, sustainably, and cost-effectively, while making the most of available community support.

TSBC is a non-profit organization that manages the collection and recycling of scrap tires in British Columbia. Their program ensures that used tires are properly recycled or repurposed, keeping them out of landfills and supporting environmentally friendly products like rubber surfacing for driveways, playgrounds, and walkways.
By sourcing our SBR rubber from recycled tires through TSBC, Safe Step Surfacing helps reduce waste while creating safe, durable, and eco-friendly outdoor surfaces.
Get up to $30,000 in funding through Tire Stewardship BC’s Community Grant Program when you use recycled tire rubber for playgrounds, walkways, or other outdoor surfacing projects.

Kal’s RePlay Fund is a community grant program run by Kal Tire that supports projects using recycled rubber products made from scrap tires to improve public infrastructure and community spaces. The fund helps non-profits, schools, municipalities, First Nations, and other eligible groups offset the cost of using recycled rubber for things like playground surfacing, flooring, walkways, fitness areas, and more — turning waste rubber into lasting, safe and inclusive spaces.
